+What's the availability for lessons at the moment?
We are available everyday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
+When is the wind season in Puerto Rico?
December through august is the best season. February-March and June-July are the most strong and consistent winds. October and November are hit or miss months. Check the weather forecast resource for wind conditions in the next 5 days. If there is more than 10 knots of wind forecasted, we’ll be available for lessons and courses.
+How long will it take me to learn, what are the costs and what's covered?
Most people take between 3-6 hours of instruction. We recommend starting with a 1 day kiteboarding course and after completing deciding if you want to learn all the technical details which we cover on the 2 day kiteboarding course.

Custom Kiteboarding lessons are offered at $180 for 2 hours of private instruction.
The 1 day Kiteboarding course is offered at $250.00 for 3 hours of private instruction.
The 2 day Kiteboarding course is offered at $450.00 for 6 hours of private instruction divided into 2 or 3 days.

Our lessons are tailored to the individual and your personal rate of progression. Basically, as you demonstrate mastery of important skills we move you up to the next level – we advance you as fast as you can go!

+How are the refresher lessons conducted?
Our lessons are tailored to the individual and your personal rate of progression. Basically, as you demonstrate mastery of important skills we move you up to the next level – we advance you as fast as you can go!
During your first lesson, the instructor will evaluate your knowledge and skills in set up, kite control and water relaunching. During this evaluation, the instructor will determine which techniques you dominate and which ones need to be worked on for the lesson.

+Where is the school located?

Our school is located at the Beach House hotel in Isla Verde just 2 minutes away from the San Juan International airport. Here is where we offer most of our lessons and rentals. We also offer lessons upon request in 2 flat-shallow water spot in the east (25 minute drive) and in Vieques island. Follow this link for more information about 15 Knots locations.
